Queen’s Gate Alice by Alpha x Omega, I knew I had the have her on my wall when I first laid eyes on her pictures at dannychoo.com. She was literally sold out everywhere, but luckily there’s always eBay to the rescue ^^ I got her at a price, but it was worth it because Alice is just so darn cute. Just be warned, loli + cast-off = NSFW!
Alice comes from the ero series Queen’s Gate which happens to be a game that I have no clue on how to play. I don’t intend on playing the game, but I am enticed to buy her ero game book just for the artwork.
The attention to detail on this 1/8 scale PVC figure is amazing, nothing was overlooked. My favourite feature is Alice’s deviant look, it just melts me every time I look at her…
She have everything that defines a perfect figure: great sculpt, great pose, excellent details and paint job.
Those who have seen her pictures on other reviews might notice that her hair colour changes colours from review-to-review. The colour of her hair is a tint of silverish-light-green in the flesh.
Ah, the obligatory pantsu shot ^^; There’s no shortage of that with Alice. I really love how her pantsu is *in-need-of-adjustment*.
There’s nothing spectacular about the base, but the clear base does compliment the figure nicely on display.
I’m not really a fan of girls with tails…
But girls with boots in thigh-high stockings sure tickles my fancy ^^
Alice have a really lovely face, and she’s really fun to take pictures with.
You get a different *feel* when taking pictures of her at different angles. I never got tired of taking pictures of her, hence the resulting 400+ pics “orz
I thought I captured the silverish-light-green tint on her hair, but it doesn’t look like it in these pics. Do you see the tint?
A few of these landscape shots are available as wallpapers.
Amongst all the good things with this Alice figure, she is a really fragile piece of artwork.
I’ve read horror stories of her head piece and armbands buckling.
But my greatest fear is giving her a unnecessary haircut when playing with her cast-off.
That hasn’t happened yet, but I have managed to break a piece off her corset…
Being a sucker, I’ve placed an order for a second Alice that should be arriving some time next week…
Her corset comes with a loop on the back, presumably for her tail. But most Alice owners just leave it out since it doesn’t make any difference.
The attention to detail is amazing…
No detail was left out on her *removable* weapons. It felt like I was going to break her fingers when I put her guns in place.
They even sculpted a little crinkle on her stockings…

I really liked the use of matte and semi-gloss paint to finish the details on her.
Her corset doesn’t actually cover her pupils, they can still be seen ^^;
Now’s the time to turn away if bare eyes aren’t your thing…
I think Alice is the only figure that I prefer displayed in cast-off mode.
The second Alice will be displayed nekkid full-time, hope she doesn’t catch a cold.
She doesn’t look anymore decent with her corset on anyways ^^
Alice would make a nice addition to anyone’s figure collection. Loli, cast-off, and pantsu…what else can you ask for? Enjoy the rest of the pics.

Queen’s Blade isn’t an ero game. It’s actually a series of visual game books, though the art is always near softcore porn levels.
I have Alice too btw. Did you have any trouble getting Alice’s vest to clip together? The tabs on mine are too big and they don’t fit in the holes on the vest, so her vest is always like half open for me.

No trouble with the clips on her corset, it’s just a pain in the ass to put it on ^^; It always feels like something’s going to give when playing with her cast-off.

Sorry, I don’t know where you can get one nowadays. There’s one store on ebay that has it, but I wouldn’t recommend you to buy from that store because of the crappy packaging.
I would avoid HK/China sellers if you do buy from ebay. Sorry I couldn’t help much.
I found this excellent webpage whilst searching the net for nothing in particular and fell in love with the Alive figurine – I knew I had to get one! So after a lot of searching I finally found one in stock from Japan and I snapped it up. She was delivered a couple days ago and is absolutely fantastic. The photos in this “review” are really good by the way and do the model great justice. Well done!
The thing I’m having trouble with is installing Alice’s guns. I’ve been trying to work out the best way to do it for a couple days, but I can’t work out the best method? I’m afraid I’ll snap her thumbs off! Can you please tell me how you install her guns – what part of the gun you put where on her hand to get it in etc.

Unfortunately, the only way to “install” Alice’s guns is to pry her thumb (and finger) enough to slip her guns in from the thinnest edge. But make your life easier and put it in her left hand before the right hand. ;) Do be gentle when slipping her gun in place because I’ve read instances of her thumb coming off because they used excess force. Cheers to another Alice owner!
After a week psyching myself up for the big event, and following your good advice, I finally got to installing Alice’s guns! haha! I was very careful, and it definitely is fiddly, but the pvc/resin gave more than I thought it would and I managed to slip both guns in place without any damage.
The pvc/resin is somewhat elasticated – explaining some of the horror stories I have heard about ‘leaning’ figures actually bending over a couple of years until they touch the floor!?! Alice’s fingers and thumbs bent quite nicely with some slow and very careful persuasion. I’m never taking the guns off though! lol.

Yeah, I actually have a couple of those leaners in my collection, but I don’t display them anymore. Most of the new figures won’t suffer from those problem(s), but my experience is only with the few brands that I buy from.
It is an interesting (if not rewarding) hobby. Which version of Saber Lily did you order?
I bought the Saber Lily Distant Avalon figure. It’s stunning. I’m in the process of making a custom cabinet for them at the moment to really show them off.
So is there any place that sells good-quality Alice figures?
I could not find a trust worthy retail outlet having searched the Internet for shops worldwide. Though it’s probable some exist, I couldn’t find any.
I ended up buying one from a japanese eBay seller who was a trusted seller with thousands of positive feedback and a 100% positive score.
Fortunately it paid off and my model is genuine and not a bootleg.
If you buy from an eBay seller I’d recommend only buying from a trusted member. Good luck.
All of the trusted retailers are out of stock the last time I checked. Ebay or Yahoo auctions is probably the only way to get her nowadays. If we’re lucky, they *might* re-release her as a special edition. But I doubt that’s gonna happen.
